With the discovery of the monster, the grumpiness soon disappeared. Georgina was happy! Each monster that was found, would make the world a little bit less grumpy.
Below you can find some historical facts about this wondrous creature:
“Since the 13th century, a house with a plaque had been standing here. The plaque read “Where the heathen shoots”. In 1701, it was called “at the heathen-shot or corner where the Turk rides”. The house also featured a sculpture of a Saracen with bow and arrow. In 1850, Wilhelm Albecht Prince of Montenuovo bought the building with all its neighbouring properties. He tore them down and had Josef Winder erect a Palais instead. In memoriam of the old plaque and the statue, a new figure of a sword-wielding Turk on a horse was placed on the corner of the building.”
