With the discovery of the monster, the grumpiness soon disappeared. Georgina was happy! Each monster that was found, would make the world a little bit less grumpy.
Below you can find some historical facts about this wondrous creature:
“In Sievering, the 19th district of Vienna, a goose named Lili is resting on the rails of the tram line 39. Or more accurately, rested. That was more than 45 years ago, and no goose, not even the most famous one of Vienna, lives to be that old.
Of all the places it was this exact spot, where the tram stop Karthäuserstraße used to be, that just happened to be Lili’s favorite resting place. Frequently she would lie down on the rail tracks, and the tram driver had to pick her up and move her out of the way before he could continue his journey. The tram line 39 was closed in 1970, but a monument still pays tribute to the goose Lili. It was erected in 1987, as a “symbol of calmness and rural tranquility”.”
